Email: dgandhi@hooyou.com Devadatta (Debu) Gandhi is an immigration attorney with a background in both employment-based immigration as well as removal cases. At Zhang & Associates, Mr. Gandhi focuses on employment-based petitions in the EB-1(a) Extraordinary Ability, EB-1(b) Outstanding Researcher, and EB-2 National Interest Waiver categories. He strives to work closely with each client to obtain and use the most persuasive available evidence, enabling the strongest case to be presented to USCIS. Before joining Z & A, Mr. Gandhi worked at a leading immigration law firm in Cleveland, Ohio where he drafted EB-1(a) and NIW petitions as well as appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals seeking hardship-based cancellation of removal. He also represented clients at master calendar hearings in Federal Immigration Court and I-130 interviews at USCIS. Prior to becoming an immigration attorney he served as an Assistant Counsel to the Speaker of the Illinois House of Representatives, working with Democratic and Republican representatives, lobbyists, legal and research staff to analyze and draft legislation.
